Welcome to CSSC’s Higher Seminar with Stephen G. Brooks of Dartmouth College, USA. Professor Brooks will give some introductory remarks on trade wars and then we look forward to an interesting discussion with the audience. Light lunch will be served.

Stephen G. Brooks is a Professor of Government at Dartmouth College, specializing in international relations with a focus on U.S. foreign policy, international security, and international political economy. His research explores how economic and military power shape global politics, particularly in the post-Cold War era. Brooks has authored several influential books, including World Out of Balance and America Abroad, and his work has been featured in leading academic journals and major media outlets. He earned his Ph.D. from Princeton University and has held fellowships at Harvard University and the Council on Foreign Relations. He is strong advocate for active American engagement in world affairs.
